A new town for the narrow gauge line!
This will be a module, 3,2 m long of four segments. Main track code 55, other tracks code 40.
And now the progress. It started with a stack of plywood. And soon I had the first segment.
More work with the next segments. How good that there're autotimer.
The boxes are finished, start with track laying - and turnout building.
Another idea, one track more!
And the right yard throat, the three mainline turnouts are code 55, all other are code 40!
Turnouts over the segment border, no problem. First lay the turnout then cut the rails and PC board ties.
I had to make a connection between main and house track, an S-curve. I used a code 70 rail and spiked it at both ends. The rail will take the natural curve. Then I draw the center line. Some time later the track is laid, code 40 in this case.
and with wooden ties added...
... and the transition from code 55 ( at the turnout ) to code
40:
